Who’s teaching this
We’re 2 RN-led, independent board-certified nurse advocates with over 80+ years combined experience helping families navigate real-life healthcare situations—without judgment and without jargon.

Together Pam and Linda wrote their book “Cracking the Hospice Code: Your Nurse Advocates Debunk the Top 10 Misconceptions of Hospice” Assisting families in times of need when there are so many challenges in accessing quality care is our passion and our mission. We want to reduce the stress and remove the feelings of being overwhelmed when it comes to managing your care or the care of someone you love.

Linda and Pam wanted to give a voice to those that are struggling to find their way through the complexity of our healthcare system. It is a maze of red tape and rabbit holes. We want to help you prepare. Be ready for the unexpected. Health can change in a matter of minutes and can often be unexpected and life changing.

What Others are Saying About

Your Nurse Advocates

….”There’s not enough words to describe the amount of help Pam gave to my family and myself through what were very challenging times. Pam’s many years of experience and knowledge dealing with Alzheimer’s patients makes her the perfect match to illustrate just that. I have a happy heart knowing the impact this book and her services can be on so many families that struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease”…..

“I felt like I was on a little vacation being able to share the responsibility of my parents' care with my advocates. For the first time in a long time I didn’t feel I was alone.”

“If you have a situation that needs quality, knowledgeable medical information these ladies are the ones to contact. They not only are available for our senior population, but also a great asset to anyone that has medical issues.I have worked primarily with Pam. If it were not for her, my daughter would not have received Social Security Disability benefits. We are forever grateful!”

The healthcare industry has become so complex it feels impossible to navigate. In Florida, where I lived for the last 11 years, I had compiled a list of doctors that I saw, either through friends' referrals or through my insurance.

Coming to Kansas with no idea who or even where to go was a nightmare for my family. I can't thank you enough for all the guidance you provided for us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping us navigate the system here.

“Navigating Medicare, helping our family figure out how to get a primary care provider, getting doctors to return phone calls, understanding doctor notes, figuring out who and how to get a care provider for in home care, being my mom's person, being our sounding board when trying to make difficult decisions, and ALWAYS putting mom and her care first!!!.”

I really can't say enough how much Linda's guidance and help relieved our stress and helped us prepare for what was coming next. Not to mention how to get our loved one in a care facility when they were all "full." It was truly a blessing to have found her, only wish we would have found her sooner in the process of the disease! Very knowledgeable, caring individuals. Always available to answer any questions you may have and go above and beyond to get the results needed for your particular situation.

“I would say this.. please don’t wait. If you question any part of caring for a loved one, reach out to Pam. My mom went from a family vacation to her home to my sister’s home to the emergency room to weeks in the hospital in the blink of an eye. Out of state, no primary care provider, loss of basic skills including memory… leaves a ton on the table for family to figure out in the blink of an eye. Don’t do it alone!”
